 Where are the Kohlers?

Post Where are the Kohlers?
Granted all mud motor (the big names) manufacturers run the Briggs Vanguard big block on their flagship models. Have any of you all replaced a big block briggs power head with the big block kohler commands? I’ve seen a backwater with a 38hp once. Kohlers IMO seem more reliable.

Been discussed at length on this site. Do some searching, you'll find all the pros and cons.

I'm doing the opposite. I blew up my 40 HP Kohler Mud Buddy HD Sport and plan to replace it with a Vanguard. The Kohller was a good engine but you can't find any modded parts and I had trouble finding a shop who would work on it.
