GoDevil 35HP with carb, maybe 2018? I'm replacing the plastic throttle paddle and cable assembly. All is going well until I hook the bent end of the cable to the carb throttle plate. When I disconnected it I thought the cable hook came out on the left side/rear side. After I get it hooked up and squeeze the throttle the bent end of the cable jumps out of the slot. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Somebody please save me a trip to Beaumont to just look at one. |

Got it! Thanks Rick at Heritage Marine, and thank you Bart! I couldn't see that itty bitty hole. I should get a refund for that cataract surgery. Fresh oil change, filter, fuel hose, fuel filter, spark plugs, and Yamaha separator element. New Carlisle Radial Trail HD tires will be here Tuesday. Bearings pumped full of WalMarts' finest SuperTech Marine Grease. It runs great in the backyard. I heard a rumor where the flounder are thick... |
