Just a liitle update on Gator-Tail service, it's fair to say the possitive things too, and from yesterday until today, Bubba has replied a few emails I have sent and some of them has been replied very quick, I just sent him one and he replied within a minute so it's been really helpful and easy ro communicate with him lately.

Historically, Gatortail's Customer Service seems to improve once a complaint hits the www box.

I have been talking with Chad from Prodigy, Bubba from Gator-Tail, KP from Prodrive and with Tim from MuddyBay Marine, they have all been sending me emails and replying to mine very fast so big thanks for all these guys. Lot's of info on their boats. Just waiting some final layout questions from all so I can decide which one to buy and I'll place the order right away, maybe monday or tuesday once they finish sending me all the info and pictures.

I might go in person to check out the builder that I decide to do business with and get to see the boat while it is build.

I am going duck hunting at 4:00am, spend the night there camping and come back sunday afternoon.

Better post pics! I knowas first hand Bubba from GT will walk you through the whole building process at their facility anfor does a great job explaining everything and gives a great tour. Can't speak for prodrivexample as i'vr never been there but I'm sure they do a great job there as well from what I've read on here

Stay away from Muddy Bay.

Keep in mind gatortail received hundreds of emails, phone calls etc from people who do not even have the money to buy a rig. A phone call is the easiest way to communicate with any high volume business. He asked you to call because that is the best way he can serve you.

Where are you in Panama? I got a little taste of the snook fishery while I was in Costa Rica in April and would like to head back down south again to either Nicaragua or Panama to fish specifically for Pacific Black Snook. I was hoping to find somebody with boots on the ground down there who could point me in the right direction.

We've built many hulls for people via Emails only. Quite a few soldiers have ordered from us from over seas. Though, its very easy to get over whelmed with BS emails.

What you're experiencing right now is exactly why I bought how I did and from who I did. I can see both sides of it. One of the few guys who has the cash and wanting to make a move can't get a serious look because of all the turds out there just poking around. If he already has put you off this long there's no way I'd send them money to start building a boat. Id move on to whoever is next on your list, I'm sure the cool-aid brigade feels differently though.

I can tell you bubba is swamped with emails and phone calls so if he hasn't got back to you it's not intentional. I have never owned a gtr yet but had one ordered before work fell out they were very nice and even gave me my deposit back . I will say not many companies will help you like that and it was appreciated .

Just curious, but how would you get it back to Panama?

jurado where can one look up hunting in Panama? I love hunting teal and be able to whack that many in a day would be a dream come true. If you get a chance post up some pics of the scenery and some kill pics. Good luck on getting you a rig. The guys who are answering your questions are the right people to do so.
