 Cutom Build Lead Times ???
Trying hard to get everything lined up to be advertising on hear as a builder at some point this summer. Trying to get an idea as to what kind of wait times people are dealing with when getting boats built by many of the other custom builders. Whats the norm or average, and whats to long to where you just going to go find another builder. Thanks for the input guys.

Re: Cutom Build Lead Times ???
Kinda depends on if you're set on a certain builder. I know when the time comes for me to have one built, if it takes 6-8mo to get it done then so be it. I'll just beat around in my old tin can till it's ready.
If you're set on a certain boat, and not necessarily the builder than that's a different story.

Couple three months seems to be what a lot of guys are posting for lead times when they order new rigs.

Depends if youre back yard building or doing it full time.. back yard 9 weeks is acceptable...figure 7-8 boats a year.. full time 4-5 weeks depending on how many youve got in front. Figure 2-3 boats a month imo

Re: Cutom Build Lead Times ???
Thanks guys. Just trying to get an idea before I actually pull the trigger on the advertising. The wait times are about what I figured. If and when I go full time I can handle 3 boats a month max, without expanding my current set up/operation and was just curious how long you guys where having to wait on other builders. Thanks for the feed back
