Re: New power head for my MM
I will have to get the specs, but it's one of the engines for an LPD Navy ship.

New power head for my MM
The LPDs have two of these in them. They will spool up pretty good. It shakes the shit out of the ship when it's under full power. Hard to sleep when they are doing there high speed runs, and we are in the "quiet" area of the ship. (Sick bay) The destroyers are the badass's of the ship world. They run the gas turbine engines.

Re: New power head for my MM
That looks to be a Colt-Pielstick PC2.5 STC engine, the ship most likely has 4 of them. Fairbanks Morse builds them I believe and they're rated around 10,000hp at a little over 500RPM.
If you're talking about the San Antonio class, it's got two engines per propulsion unit, a total of 4.
