 Engine Hoist
Can I use a shop crane to lift my motor using these sling attachment points? I can use straps, this just looks more convenient. I don't know if they're sturdy enough to account for the extra weight of the motor frame (longtail motor) though.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1403309355.015243.jpg

 Re: Engine Hoist
They do not look strong but they will hold. I was skeptical at first but I've lifted my Mud Buddy a few times. Didn't even bend a bit.

 Re: Engine Hoist
Well gave it a shot. One of the tabs bent once under pressure but held just fine

 Re: Engine Hoist
I threaded a strong rope thru both hangers and tied a knot to make a single attachment point for the hoist. No bent hangers that way.
