Hunt Deck

I added pods to a Tracker 1648 last year and it degraded performance. I switch between an outboard and SWOMP 35SS and now the outboard will cavitate if I rev it to quickly and the water funnels between the pod and is really turbulent at the prop with the LT on. My thought was to fill in the space between the pods and make a new motor mount. The issue I see is the angle the pod is mounted. The back of the pod is 3/4 in higher than the boat. Anybody ever try boxing in the pods like that? I am thinking the pods will come off and I will just add the hunt deck.

Cut em off and start over.
