Post Inboard Mud Boat guys......Got a few questions
We used a good friend of ours mudboat with a Subaru engine this pass weekend to spray lilies. Now were debating on building or buying one to keep around to do this very thing. The only thing we didn't like is the width. His boat was very narrow and with two people and or spraying gear, that bitch was tipsy. Our gear was a small 5 hp pump with a 55 gal drum to mix the chemicals.

- What are the pros and cons to going from say a 38"-40" bottom to a 50"-54" bottom to carry more load?
- His had the velvet transmission, I have heard they have a better one, not sure?
- Fiberglass or aluminum?
- Build one of buy used?

This this will not be built for speed, we want it to spray the lease and to cut ditches and such. That sucker chopped of shit way better than oer PD's did. We just put it in gear and putted along chopping up all kind of shit.

So any ideas, throw this way, were looking to do something really soon.
