 Building a bilge cover
I want to build a cover for my bilge so that I am able to stand on it to give me more room when fishing. Right now I have a bilge pump, battery, and gas tank in the bilge are. I know a gas tank and battery shouldn't be enclosed in the same area but I was wondering if I get one of the new portable gas tanks that dont have a vent if it would be alright to have both enclosed together.

 Re: Building a bilge cover
No where really else to put the gas tank. I thought about trying to move the battery to the front of the boat but that would require alot of rewiring.

 Re: Building a bilge cover
How about enclosing it with some sort of perforated metal...? Expanded metal or something like that..
