Just some cheap LED rope light I got off ebay. It's supposed to be waterproof and $13 shipped for 16ft I figured I'd try it. Pretty bright though.

I also bought a reel of the warm white LED lights to for a little project on my truck. I'm very anxious to see how bright those will be.

Those lights on ebay work good. I used them on all kinda stuff. Might have to put some in my boat. They also so good outside the boat for perch fishing at night as long as they are white or green.

How'd ya set em up? Screw in? 3M tape?

They 3m backed

I bought some off eBay that are "warm white" color. Hopefully they won't be too bright, they seem like pretty decent lights for the money.

I used that spray adhesive even with the 3m backing on them. That will makem stick to anything.

I don't know why I didn't think about the 3m spray glue, I have 2 new cans of the stuff. Ohh well, if the rtv comes off I know what to put back on.
The warm white didn't look to bright, I think I was just the right amount of light. I haven't hooked mine up yet and these are a different brand then the ones I saw, so who knows, imma find out tomorrow though when they get installed on the truck.

I used silicone in some spots that fell down with the heat. Silicone will hold just fine

I got a roll of the cheap 10$ green off of ebay and it sucks. A section in the middle didn't even work, and you have to wiggle the wires on one of the strips to get it to come on. Its bright and all, just low quality.

Anybody install lights like these that don't have catwalks? I'd like to do some lighting but I have no catwalks to hide them under. Trying to decide how best to do it so it doesn't look wiggered up.

Put mine on the bottom side of the half pipe that my fuel and wires are ran through. Shines down enough to keep them out of your eyes. I put a thin layer of silicon over mine . Even with that after a year of hunting and some time in salt water there starting to play out.

That green looks awesome missile, I gotta get me some catwalks so I can put them down the sides.

Just added another small strip to mine to light up the face of my console at night.

That's to be determined. It's an rgb led strip so I can change the color to red or blue or white by switching which ground I connect to. I mounted it on a small piece of angle so the light is directed down. The light really isn't for me since I've pretty much mastered where all the switches are in the dark. It's more for anyone else I let drive so I can bowfish.

I'd say keep that light on red, and it shouldn't be a problem.

I use the Alpena led I'm happy with them

Can run different lengths or do u have to use the 16ft??
