 Frog.... gator glide question
Right now my GG goes up about 4" on the side. Works great. Buddy went all the way up to his side crimp and it actually does better in the lilies than mine. I plan on painting my hull soon and was gonna add some GG to make it go up to my crimp. I'll handle all the prep work like before, but can you just put another coat over the existing GG? or does it need to be prep'd with anything? IMG_2528.JPG

I'm not frog, but I think you just hit it with some fine sandpaper then clean with acetone.

 Re: Frog.... gator glide question
I jusr re-applied before teal season. I went up to the crimp and it does make a difference in thick vegitation, especially only having a small block.
If I recall he told me to make sure it was clean, light sand, wipe with acetone and apply...
But I'll let him give his answer lol.

Yeah, that's why I asked, esp when it cost that much. Good shit, but don't want to keep buying cuz I screwed up.

120 grit it, acetone and roll away. I suggest doing your transom as well, get's rid of the water line and no mud or chewed up veggies will stick to it.

 Re: Frog.... gator glide question
Sorry its taken so long to get back to you. Yep, Like stated above, give the excising a light sand, 180 grit or whatever you have but would not go below 120 and a good wipe with Acetone. I would do the sides and any wear spots with several coats and the one coat over all.

10-4, I'm gonna do it when I paint the hull to freshen it up.
