 Adding Receiver Hitch
I bought a Gator Tail boat used and one of the options i want to add in the offseason is a receiver hitch for a winch on the bow, similar to what Gator Tail builds in their boats. Is it possible that the bow can be cut and welded to add one? Anyone have any other winch ideas? I want the removable option, I don't really want anything permanently mounted up front.

 Re: Adding Receiver Hitch
Put a spud pole hole in the bow and mount your winch to a plate with a mini spud pole

 Re: Adding Receiver Hitch
That's probably the easiest answer, but Gator Tail did add one to my boat about a year after I bought it, so it is possible. Not sure how practical it is though because I've never used it.
