I've had a custom built 17 foot flat bottom with a prodrive 36hp with reverse for a year now and lately have been hunting with 3 people and have been struggling to get on step. I'm not sure what to try. By myself I can get up to about 26 mph with three people only about 12. I'm hoping that rearranging my weight in the boat will make a difference because going that slow for miles is just frustrating. Please help me out.
