Post Gator glide in sand
Is there any point in using gator glide for sandy rivers?

I don't think anything will help with sand. It may work but I wouldn't think for very long. Sand is the devil.

If you wanted to remove the GG, that'd get the job done

It wears it pretty quick when running. I have to touch up after duck season. If the sand is still a little wet from tide dropping and not dry dry it makes it much easier to push. I've pushed my boat 25 yards to water before on a sand bar

I hate sand but that's all I run is a sandy river up in Oklahoma. Sounds like I would help but would get expensive

The one good thing about sand on gg, it's done the prep work for you just reapply.

It has it's benefits for sure. Just touch it up every year or two.

Sand will wear down a stainless prop in less than an hour. If you're not running that kind of sand GatorGlide is a must IMO. Don't get stuck without it!!!! :!: ;)

Oh, no doubt I can travel further with than without it. The sand and clay I run will kill a prop. The gg actually it's doing pretty good considering what I run over.
