 Boat building class?
One of you guys need to set up a boat building class! I am not sure how much demand there is really, but I for one would love to watch and learn over a few days on how to construct a boat. (I know it takes more than a few days.) Or how to add a front deck or build your own up from a bought shell, etc. I love looking though the threads on boat builds and would love to see it in person!
I would at least throw some vids up on youtube.

 Re: Boat building class?
I doubt anyone would actually take the time to do it.
It's pretty simple if you have basic fabricating skills and an open mind.

 Re: Boat building class?
I taught several boat building classes at ULL back in the 80's. Probably built 50 or more boats, all of of wood though. Also did workshops at Wooden Boat festival wher people from all over the country would sign up and we'd built a boat in a weekend. Met lots of great people.

 Re: Boat building class?
Would be cool to see one of the better boat builders put out a DVD. Those guys selling dog training videos (mike Lardy, Evan graham, bill Hillman) charge pretty good money for there "program". Don't see why it would be any different for a boat builder. Might end up being some pretty good side $$$.
