 Re: WC Custom in progress
Pete will validate this but mine had a legal pad full of notes, measurements and wants when we sat down to order the boat. You have to convince her of all the positives a new boat would bring other than making you happy. !

 Re: WC Custom in progress
You can ask Pete, my wife had a few demands if I had any chance of my boat being built. She wanted her own seat, an ice chest, sound system and a Bimini top for when the kids ride in the boat. ☑️,☑️,☑️, and ☑️. My wife also said she will let me get the boat only if I teach her how to drive the boat.

 Re: WC Custom in progress
Hi, great boat Migrator, looks awesome congrats. Sorry to ask the question here but seems like a lot of guys with food knowledge in the thread so would like some help, if possible. I will build a 2072 wirh dual GTR37EFI and can't decide about going with .190gauge bottom a d .125gauge or .125gauge all over. The builder says if I won't abuse the boat I can go with .125gauge all over and safe some 120 pounds. I do want speed so was wondering if those 120 pounds would cut some 2-3 miles. There are a lot of stumps in my area but when I do hit them I am going really slow, the part where ai go fast has no stumps
What would you all do? Thank you for the advice and help and sorry again to post this in your thread.

 Re: WC Custom in progress
Go 3/16 bottom with 1/8 sides, the weight difference compared to strength is worth it imo.

 Re: WC Custom in progress
he should be finishing your rig. Mines at paint right now. Your rig turned out very nice. If you don't have a trailer I can put your boat inside mine and deliver it to you lol

 Re: WC Custom in progress
^^^ No doubt about that. May not be the best on your console though. Jjurado. Going slow and getting hung up on stumps may be as bad as running. These boats are not devastated by another 120 pounds especially with duals. IMO the hooks (dents) in the 1/8 hull would be more disabling than the extra weight. Go w/ the 3/16-1/8. More ribs will also help prevent hooks. Who are you looking at to build your boat? !

 Re: WC Custom in progress
Thank You guys for the replies. Migrator, yes as Hernaja1 said I talked yesterday with Chad from Prodigy and He said he could build what I want but I have to be honest, after looking at yours and Hernaja 1 rigs I do think both boats look awesome so I might call Pete and talk to him about it.
I have heard many good things about Prodigy as well though.
Thanks

 Re: WC Custom in progress
A lot of good options out there. The prodigy boats I have seen look nice. All depends on what you want. I have hunted out of a gator trax for 6 yrs. great boat. Just wanted to try something different. Look at different options and put your hands on a few if possible. A lot of thought and planning initially will result in a boat you will be happy with.

 Re: WC Custom in progress
After a weekend of work the folks at WC Customs put the finishing touches on my boat. I am very happy with the outcome. We ran it with my 2009 MB 55 mag. It held 31 with me and help 28 with 4 grown folks. I will take that every day. Here are a few more pictures.
