Post Another pods question
I own this barge. A 20 yr old alumacraft welded 1860 and this thing was built like a battleship. I push it with a swomp 35 and we fill the boat level with equipment and 4 big guys and a dog. It gets us to our spot 'eventually' and we're happy with that.

I'd like to put pods on it, if for nothing else but to have a step in the rear to get into the boat because I'm pretty much an old man. Any reason why I shouldn't. I can't believe the extra drag will affect performance much but that's why I'm checking in here. Thanks.

Make sure the pods are flush with the sides of the boat, and I would put them about a half inch higher than the bottom of your boat.

I saw a boat in the classified section that has a fold down step on the transom.
