Post NEED ADVICE
Gonna put gator glide on my phowler 17/48. My Q is how are y'all lifting your boats. I have cherry pickers, and was gonna use them. My concern is the handles welded on the front and back aren't strong enough to support the weight. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

I hung my 1850 phowler prowler by the handles. Motor was not on the boat. I kept some saw horses under it just in case something failed. The saw horses were very close to the bottom of the boat, but not touching it.

I picked my 16x60 godevil boat up by the handles front and back (2x now). The motor was on it. I just removed everything that was added weight (gas can, batteries).

However you do it, put something under the boat with you. I use a 30 gal drum, 2 5 gal buckets full of sand with a 8' 4 X 4. If it does come down you can get out. probably wont but make sure you're safe "first"
