 Gator Trax 1754 - Motor and Speed?
Anybody that has or had a 1754 Gator Trax (tall transom and high sides) what kind of motor did you have and what speeds?

I had one with twins and it would do about 4-5mph in calm deep water no wind or chop never got it on plane cause it was too much for the motors

Should get high twentys with a stock 35 hp surface drive of any manufacture, running lite. Get as much HP as you can afford, boat will handle it.
