Most don't use gold or yellow except for highlights if you are using stencils and getting really fancy. The kits like the Shadowgrass stencils use a khaki color because yellow is generally too bright. There are quite a few options, but most marine paint is sold by local marine stores and we don't know where you live. Wal-Mart does sell Rust O'leum camo colors similar to the ones in the kits. Beyond that you have quite a few options if you order

Duralux makes a duck boat drab that is really a marsh grass greenish-yellow, but remember that the only Duralux paint made for application on aluminum without aluminum primer is their "Aluminum Boat Green".

Cabelas and several other places sell the Styx River camo spray paint kits and several colors of Parker Spray paint including 2-3 that could be used for grass.

Lock Stock and Barrell sells marine enamel for boats and decoys in lots of colors. I can tell you from personal experience that it is sometimes very hard to tell from the paint chip cards what a paint is really going to look like.

If you really want to go the professional route you can have any color you want mixed in Sherwin Williams KEM 400, but you have to go to a Sherwin Williams Industrial store, not the regular local Sherwin Williams.

I should add that most of the better paints are not spray cans, but if you don't have spray gear and a compressor, spray cans are probably a lot easier.

I attached a pic of a boat I painted with Lock Stock and Barrell paint colors. It matches salt marsh better than freshwater marsh or swamp. The ducks in the photo were shot with the boat just tied to the back of the blind with no cover. It also seems to overcome the problem of so many camo paint jobs just looking like a black or dark blob at a distance because most camo paint jobs are too dark. The front deck has water on it which is reflecting light at this angle so the front deck is not this bright in person. I still need to install the hydroturf on the front deck anyway.
