What's your heaviest Load + Speeds
Curious to see with all these mods out there what your heaviest load was and what speed you were getting out of it.
I'm about to test it this weekend on my 1760 with a stock 35 MB I'm likely going to have over 1000lbs in the boat. Not going to use the Big Blade - going to swap it for the 11x10 and see what speeds I get.
What you got?

Re: What's your heaviest Load + Speeds
My old stage 2 PD 1754 would tote 1400 added pounds 27-28 maybe a little faster but would do that any day I'm going to edit this based on replies below, I thought we were talking about average...not "that one time" Mine as pictured here, genny, two batteries, dry box full of crap, with 4 people, , 2 6 gallon gas tanks, 2 coolers(drinks in one, 30+ fish on ice in the other), bowfishing gear, etc... held 30.2-30.7 for 8 miles one night back to the hill.

What's your heaviest Load + Speeds
I'm embarrassed to post up numbers I get out of my GDSD. Hell, some of y'all would smoke my boat with a 50 hp outboard on it.

Re: What's your heaviest Load + Speeds
My GTrax 1750 HD will run 29.7 avg. with a 3 man hunting load and 6 dozen decoys and all our junk. 45 mag with heads and carb.
More impressive to me was pulling a broken broken Gtrax rig out of Moon pond at SETX this year. Sitting on soft mud I stepped both boats and was able to run 23 mph till we hit tje ship channel.

Re: What's your heaviest Load + Speeds
Buzz, One thing to consider. My 19'10x50 would haul mor shit than my 1748. Bottom width, hull weight have a lot to do with it also. A 60" bottom should tote a load and hardly draft any water.

Re: What's your heaviest Load + Speeds
Also Buzz, with the same load I listed above, my boat wouldn't even get on plane with the stock motor, that was the reason I modded it. We went bow fishing one night and it wouldn't do anything but push a wall of water... take one person out and it would go from 11mph to 21mph... after mods, it'll tote whatever you put in it.

Re: What's your heaviest Load + Speeds
Lol you guys have some serious speeds with those loads.
My stock 35 - im too lazy to change my prop to the 11x10 so I am curious to see what my BB does with that load. Me at 195, 1 friend at 340lbs, 1 friend at 200 lbs, 1 at 220, and a lovely lady at less than 130 =) and her son at 50lbs...plus 9 gal of gas and 2 coolers 1 x 90,1 x 60 full of ice and beers - for the bbq - what will my 1760 get? I say slooooooooooooow =)
