 Re: 17-50 dead fowl
Just browsing this thread. Bigrich, our club is in Cash (on the cache). How do you reckon that boat gonna do in the timber? This will be the first year I've run a square chine boat in the woods. Had been running a 16-44 go devil.

 Re: 17-50 dead fowl
Awesome! With the near beam and being able to fun over small saplings won't b an issue! I rode with a guy with a gator trax 16-50 gator trax with a 35 gtr in bayou meto and we took off in timber and just went impressed me so much I sold my edge that I had only had for 2 months! My beam is only 3" wider then a 15/42 war eagle

 Re: 17-50 dead fowl
Ha g4 on mine for a year now an it holds up great in the stumps and logs. No chips or flakes, just a little worn out from running in sand most of the time.

 Re: 17-50 dead fowl
Nah I was too cheap to spend an extra hundred when I bought it. You'll like it, here lately my boat has seen more logs and stumps than water I think and it's holding up good.

 Re: 17-50 dead fowl
I bought 1/2 base and 1/2 gal gg. I put the whole 1/2 gal of base on today. I prolly do all the gg too just have to see how it covers they say just 3-4 thin coats. Might not use all the gg so I can have some for fixing scratches later on! 1/2 gal off gg will do your boat
