Got some pics of my boat today from the builder! What yall think? Going to pick it up friday. 1660 with hunt deck. Got a 35 GTR ordered for it.

Made that so i could mount that big GPS/fish finder that is laying on the front deck right there and also will be where all my toggle switches will be.

So whats the skinny on the hull? Who made it?

It was built in Bohnam Tx by Longhorn custom boats. Ty, the owner is a great dude and good to work with on this. He kept me in the loop the whole way! He started on this the middle of last week and finished it today! He does great work! The boat will be all camo, inside and out. Just waiting on the motor to get finished and i need to put all the lights, stereo and stuff in it so it can all be painted at once.

He built that airboat u can see in the background, thing is a BEAST!! 24xtrue8 bottom with a cummins on it!

Thinking i am going to need a stage 1 to push this thing! how fast should it run stock? low 20's?

how long is that huntdeck? it looks huge

With all that diamond plate that hull must be around 1000 lbs

Diamond plate only weighs about 5% more than normal plate

Hunt deck is 18-20" I think. I can't remember exactly what we worked out on that. And yea, that is Tys shop.

you are going to need a stage 1 my friend if that is all 1/8 plate. If its .100 or .080 you will be ok unti lyou fill all the storage up.

You will like it and probaly do just fin with the setup...enjoy and go get it stuck

haha, yep! depending on how low cedar creek is it might be fun! it was real low a few years ago and we went with wheelers and the mud was DEEP!!!

I am on another forum with Ty and have seen some of his work and got a quote from him. I got a couple of quotes, a few REAL high, and one wayyyy low but he seems to build as good if not better boat than the ones that were high!

Riding fourwheelers at cedar creek and trying to drive a boat are totally different.

Mud motors aren't sand motors.

It is lighter than I expected! I picked up the whole front by myself while they backed the trailer under it. I'm not looking to go super fast. Just want a comfortable duck, bowfishing, fishing and riding boat!

nothing wrong with it, but it looks like a long skinny ab hull. i actually thought it was at first look, expecally with the one in the back ground. until i looked at the transom area.

It's pretty wide! 5th at the bottom and 6 at the top.

Are the ribs horizontal or Longitudinal?

Front to back. It has cross bars on top of them for the floor.
