I have had bad luck with the perko T locks in the past. I'm using this Gem compression latch. It also pulls the lid down and this bitch is water tight. I'm using trim lock seal on my gutter. I had to make a spacer out of pvc because it requires a thicker lid. Most of the high end glass boats use this lock. 2 years and no problems. Just passing this info a long.
