Gator trax. Better built as said, better speed, way lighter and way stronger, and WAY better layouts. Excel plugs their interior with unnecessary crap that takes up useful hunting space. Excel also drafts way too deep. |

Gator Trax will customize your rig if you want to add or delete things. Pick a base model and start modifiying. I did and Kent walked me through all the steps of getting it exactly the way I wanted it with a live well in the back for when I am fishing. Converts to more dry storage IE.. dead duck compartment during the winter. |

This thread will probably be very lopsided toward GatorTrax. That would be my vote based on some of the reviews/complaints/headaches I have read on here about the Excels. Try a google search for MMT Excel Reviews and see if anything shows up. The search feature on MMT only goes back to the latest server. You may find some of that "stuff" with a google search. Sent using Morse Code from my not so smart phone. |

Had an excel and ridden in several. They were good in ruff water because they are heavier. Couldn't plane more than 2 people in my boat with hunting gear. Limited on room because of boxes. Got a gtrx now. More room. Planes instantly. Carries 4 riders no issues. |
