 Building a boat Where to get aluminium to build a boat? Locally I can't find any sheets big enough. Who can crimp a hull for me?

Re: Building a boat Jason (Uncle J) used to sell a kit that had all/most of the materials, including crimped sheets for sides. Don't know if he still does.

Re: Building a boat bayou metals will be your cheapest place. if your not to far from mobile they will deliver there and you can have hull broke and go pick up your order there. bayou metals has a place in chalmette that can brake hull also. figure which is closer and go get it. pm me if you want the shop in mobile to brake it i will get you their number

Re: Building a boat Bayou Metals can even brake the material for you. I run the weld shop in their yard and we have a 450 ton brake press. They may even deliver it to your door. Call Taylor at 985-643-3340, tell him Westin said to call.
