Currenty have a beat to hell 1972 1436 monark with a 20hp LT. It's dented and hooked badly as well as leaks. Do I: Buy an older cheap used 1436 Buy a new alumacraft 1436 as a dealer by me has what is call good prices (also are their riveted boats relatively sturdy?) Make do for this season and get something nicer this time next year. |

Do not buy a riveted boat. Look at cottonmouth boats. They build some small mud boats |

Agreed with all above ^. Wait and get a custom. Don't have to buy a new one. If you can, design it like you want it. If your going to get in the shallow or heavy vegitation, stups and logs, get a mud motor on it. You will never go back to an outboard. Good luck NLAH. |
