I owned an edge and I wouldn't consider even thinking ab that... Edges are cut so much in the back I believe the gtr would be to much weight for one. |

Those boats are bullets with an outboard, and are specifically built to run an outboard. Either sell the edge and outboard (to me) and buy a mud rig, or keep it with the outboard on it |

I know they ran a 23 gator tail on one and it ran 20-22 mph. The orion motor company has video on their websit running a 22hp and a 36 on the edge 550. According to the video the 22 ran 24 mph and the 36 ran 33mph |

Those aren't bad numbers at all, I would just assume It squats pretty bad. Another thing, those edge boats are either .80 or .90, I would imagine you'd trash the hull relatively Quick with a sd. |

Mine squatted bad with a 25hp etec so I know it would with a 35 gtr |

They are built to hang a 25 Suzuki on and race to a hole. |

I ran one with a modified yamaha 25 and it would fly but it's not designed for a mud motor and I wouldn't consider putting one on an edge. |
