I almost got completely f'd this weekend. Running across our lease to another hole, was running through some lillies and grass. No problem, but the lillies got thicker but was still rolling along. before I knew it, I felt the front end come up and it was too late. By the time I let off the throttle, the tach had blipped 5400 and my ass went sliding about 60 yards across a grass and lilly mat . Dog stepped out and was high and dry. Had to had dig the lillies out so the prop could get to some water. After about 1 hour, we basically cut out way out. shit works grea, but I could see where you could get yourself in some serious bad shit if your not watching out. |

Had the same thing happen a few months ago. Wouldn't stop sliding, I was about to put my leg out Flinstones style to stop. |

Lol, yeah my dog was a little confused. I got out the boat on dry ground and told him to come and he jumped out the boat like he was expecting to hit water. Almost hurt hisself. |

Yeah, I was always use to running WFO and if i Hit something, the brakes would come on. Now I like some , I want to stick my feet out or throw an anchor to stop . But because this shit is so slick, I go out with no problem.

I did it last weekend on west pt. Was cutting across a marshy hard bottom spot to cut into a creek. The water had left since the last time I was there. No pictures this time, sure was thinking about it though, that ole gtr rig sure looked pretty sitting high and dry!!  Im glad i didnt follow you in there, we would have to found someone with a skidder to pull my boat outta there.. |
