Guys,

I am new to the site and I am looking at buying a new boat. I see people talking about a hull "hooking" and don't know what that means exactly. I have some idea but can someone explain. It seems to apply when someone puts a MM on a v type hull like a War Eagle, etc.

Hooking is when you have a dent in the bottom that is either on the cross braces in a non mm hull or in the very back of a mm hull (where the transom is welded to the bottom).

Trading sex for money. Also known as "The World's Oldest Profession."

Here's the word used in a sentence:

"I saw some whores hooking on Colfax Ave on my way home from the bar."

See, I thought when I said a "hull" that was hooking, I would take away the obvious opening but guess I was wrong!
