 Need a few opinions. I've built my boats with 1x2 gunnel for a little while and just switched over to the extruded gunnel. Before I was making a template and rolling the gunnel straight from the the transom to about where the rake starts then curved. Now with the extruded I just pull it together and let it curve all the way back.
I like it both ways but what do y'all like?

Re: Need a few opinions. I think I like the top one better (unpainted series of photos). It's kind of got a smooth bow to it.

Re: Need a few opinions. i have always liked straight with bow pulled in like your finished boat pics ''BUT'' the top boat with the taper the full length looks damn good also. i quess you have to flip a coin or whatever you feel that day. LOL i like both!! goodlooking work by the way
