Well, obviously there's this option. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1387348452.854035.jpg
Plain jane grab bar Sold by go devil. I prefer it to the gunnel mounted type. But I reckon it really just depends on what terrain your runnin. If wasnt doin the longtail shuffle through tight timber 95% of the time then I would go with a Gunnel mounted one, just because it would save space

I also think hydroflat's grab-bar console is pretty bad ass.

In a pinch, get a chair like this. Face it backwards in front of you, kneel on the seat and grab the top rail of the seat back. Instant grab bar and boat seat in one.

Had this one made and mounted for $130. If you hunt with dog in the boat the cup holder is real handy. I ended up having the handle extended a little.

Re: I Need some grab bar ideas
I'll have to get a picture but a cheap way to make one is to find a hand dolly, cut the wheels off, and bolt it to the floor. Held up fine for me and was free. Hose cla,p some PVC pipe on and youve even got rod holders

Take two wheeled Dolly. Remove wheels and mount to 2×4s then attach 2x4s to ribs in boat floor.
