 Hatch construction How are you guys building your hatches? I don't have a break. I was thinking of building the hatch lid out of 1" square 1/8 tubing, then using 1"angle on the deck side to support the lid. Wouldn't be waterproof bus that's what I'm coming up with

Re: Hatch construction You don't know anyone with a brake? Surely there is someone around you that has one? You can do it like that but I would be much easier broke up.

Re: Hatch construction All the hatches I've looked at in photos look like channel on the deck side. How is this done? Is aluminum c channel readily available?
