First time I've seen one of these.... looks like it would be badass with a 6hp surface drive and a quart of gator glide! |

Here is one I built. 10' 9" long 36" bottom, 44" on beam. Cockpit for one person, works like a layout/sneakbox. Powered with a 6.5 horse longtail. With me, 285 lbs, dog, 2 dozen decoys, gun, blind bag, an extra gallon of fuel I run around 10 mph. Very stable and hides in the grass very well. This is before paint and being grassed up. |

I got 4 buddies that have them and I know the guy that makes these things. He is a great guy! Boats from what I've seen are some well made boats and with a little 2hp outboard will get it for a 2 hp. |

I like them and think they will be deadly if you are a one man hunting show........other than that, you will have to convince your buddies to have one as well |

They really don't weigh much more than a regular glass pirogue.. Maybe 40-50 pounds |

Those are cool looking boats, right along the lines of what I've been looking for when the river is really low, fit in a truck bed, able to put in at canoe launches, and paddle or maybe use a motor, but light enough to drag through rapids and over sand bars. I wonder if he'd make them a little wider? The options I've found and considering are 10' aquapod, momarsh DP, four rivers migrator, square stern canoe, and now this. Any other suggestions? |

Your not gonna get the stability out of one of these boats that you will a monarsh or any other kind of cockpit style layout boat.. These things handle like a pirogue. Fast when paddling, but real tippy. |

Don't get me wrong You can definitely run a trollin motor on one, it's just not as stable as the aforementioned boats |

I just bought me one of these last week. Used it a little bit on Friday and I feel in love with how good they paddle I do want to find me a little 2hp lt to go on it this summer. I had a otter stealth before this thing I like it to but it wasn't near as easy to paddle as this dude. |

I would look at a Momarsh. I believe they have some videos of their boats running with small mud motors. It would definitely be a great weapon to have in your arsenal. |

its a 12 ft hybrid nl. http://www.hybridduckboat.com/files/index.php?id=12 you buy the plans and build it yourself. cost about 400 bucks depending how much fiberglass you use. really simple and can be built in a few weekends. |

I personally have a utility trailer built to haul 4 Momarsh DP's. Have been running these boats for 4 years now in IA, KS, NE and MO. Great, stable, durable boats and hide anywhere. We run 6.5hp Scavenger mud motors on them and typically tie 2 boats together and run that way if we are using all 4 boats. Only have 2 motors. They run 7-8mph with two boats loaded, and 10-12 loaded or unloaded with one boat/one guy. We haul a ton of gear in these boats and have no issues. Usually run a floater spread of 3-400 decoys and get them all there with 3 boats all the time. Boats are 4' wide, and 13'6" long and weigh 90lbs with no cover strapped on and empty. I load in a pickup, go over levees, and drag through dry ground all the time. Very handy and great solution for shallow water options or low cover hides. My Dad is 64 and loves to hunt from them as well. Hes retired, so easy for him to go out day after day and launch alone and get ducks close!!. These boats fish 2 men with a trolling motor or small outboard as well. Anybody that has more questions on MoMarsh boats, ask away . Glad to help out. |
