Looking to get another fishing boat built.. Wanted to see some other CC flat boat ideas if you guys don't mind.. Thinking of going with a 60" bottom just don't know if I want cat walks are a straight deck across entire boat.. Looking to get it built 17-18 foot with single engine mudmotor Thanks for the ideas Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Gatortail built a deck over cc rig in their work boat pictures. If you were mainly fishing it would be ideal I think. But if you had kids or drunks in the boat I would suggest handrails around the boat. Sent from my beeper |

Here's my old rig. Loved it for fishing 2-3 guys and scouting but was hard to fit all my hunting gear. |

Very nice boat FT.. I think I'm going to go 17-18 with 60 bottom low sides. I seen one on here that I liked. PM'd the owner he gave me some info and sending some pics.. Just didn't know what else you guys have done.. It's strictly for redfishing. Fly rods and light tackle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This is a nice boat. And I don't see why you can't put numerous storage boxes in the deck over. Sent from my beeper |

If you plan on using the catwalks for fly fishing maneuverability, go big or go home! My catwalks are comprised of 2" x 4" channel and 1.5" square tube sandwiching my 1/8" sides. It's handy for walking around and getting from front to back when the floor is crowded...but, I wouldn't dream of trying to fight a fish off of them with a fly rod. Yea I have pretty wide cat walks on my boat now.. That have done well with fly fishing.. Even tho most is done on the front of the boats fly tower you don't have to get down to often Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks, GTR stage two. The boat is 3/16 so it is heavier then most. I run about 26 or so by myself and normal gear and about 24.5 with 3 others in the boat and hunting gear. keep in mind my prop is not new either. I am not going to say it will run 30 because it has not. The most I believe I have had it to is a little over 27. Speed is not everything, if I wanted to race I would of done things different. I just wanted a good hunting and fishing boat to be able to use and take the family out in. I don't know if everyone or anyone will agree but if you run rough water at all I would go at least 19 ft long. My old prodrive was 18 ft and there is a night and day difference in the rough water. |

no Blue light in or on my boat. I am pretty sure I don't need a fashion statement on my hunting boat. And no it has not been at the shop since I picked it up. |
