All I have ever owned is GT 17' extreme boats. Wandering if there is a considerable proformance gain with a longer boat? I think the faster the better but I run a lot of timber at high speeds and a lil more control when turning would be awesome. That's the reason I'm thinking about goin to a 16' hell idk what y'all think

You might ask them about the 17'-18' x 48" Extreme hulls. Should give you plenty of turning ability, especially with a little bit of a load.
