I'm thinking of romoving the back deck almost entirely , except that part that covers my bilge pump, sliding back the bench seats and the console . The console is too far infront of the boat for me. I'd remove the back gas tank and put it infront. And put a but stool between the 2 seats behind the console . What do y'all think ? I'm not taking out the seats.

Only problem is sliding all that weight back with those 16" sides gonna catch a rogue wave eventually. Three guys + 250lb motor + sliding console and seats back- gas tank and 2ft of deck... I see a early morning phone call happening in my future."man I swamped ma boat bruh" "told ya so" just sayin! You know it washes over already.

Move the console back, move the seats forward, remove 2ft of deck and put you a good leaning post in it or lazboy

Not a bad idea. I like the idea of moving the benches infront of the console. I have not had any water in the boat other then when we test drove it. I get some using reverse but that's what I use that bilge pump for, doesn't have much to pump out though. Like I said I'm moving that gas tank to the front of the boat. I realy like the idea of swapping places of the console and the benches.

But rogue wave realy lol ! I have a one mile run in deep water. Rest is calm and shallow. Who makes the leaning post ?

Thought maybe GT or PD might have them I'll get my dad's friend to make one. You think removing that deck will help much on weight.? I wanna use that lid and put it on the front deck to acces my gas tank and for storage after I remove the foam.

Save the back deck. Move the center console back to where you can mount your seat on back deck and be comfortable driving. Get rid of those split bench seats and add a seat to front of console like I did. Move gas tank to front and battery to under console. Or leave under back deck.

See seat / dry storage I added to front of my console. You hay be able to use one of those side benches for that.

Thanx for the tip. Yea paints deffinatley coming after I resituate everything. I think it will realy freshen it up. Getting the acetone, self etching primer, paint, fine grit sand paper in the next few weeks after I get the rig set up how I want it. Dunno if I want my base coat to be muddy brown or kahky tan
