Finally changed from the 20qt cooler seat on my 2013 gatortail, its like night and day having a back rest. Anyone that's riding with the cooler seat I highly recommend a chair like this, simple and easy. |

You could have used a regular drop in seat and base. Just would of had to cut an 1" off the base and the shaft on the seat pole. Wouldnt have needed that wood then and it would be quickly removable. Just a thought. |

I used lag wood bolts for the seat base so 4 nuts to take off and the whole seat & swivel come right off. yall know a good place to order hydroturf? |

You can have both. I made this out of an Engel 35 and the Tempress FISH ON! quick-release seat bases, since they don't have a pedestal hole. Just the four small screws through the cooler top sealed with 4200. |

Just make sure the cooler is latched or when you lean back like a pimp, you can do a Navy SEAL roll right over the side of the boat. . . |
