I wouldn't do a permanent seat. I always liked the extra room when working the motor in the thick stuff

I like having storage. A seat is a perfect place to put plugs, spotlights, tools etc.

This is what I had Willett build me. .2. 080 boxes with a plug and seat base and handles. They are light weight and can be used for regular dry storage, you can remove the plugs and let em sink to the bottom if hunting 12" of water or so too. It's nice to have a spare plug too in case of emergency. And if you don't need em, real easy to just leave at home for a wide open floor plan.

Those seat boxes are a great idea and the sinking of them brilliant, much better than the pyramid bases I think but then you are adding weight I guess when taking more than yourself. What is the height of the box?

Thanks

Hey I saw your seat/storage box. That’s a pretty good idea. If you don’t mind me asking what is the dimensions on your box is and about how much did it cost.

Thanks

HAHA, by the way mine isn't a yeti, it is a factory seconds frostbite off ebay, but it works

How you like that frostbite Tyler? I have been considering, since they seem to be about half the cost

My yeti is waaay better, I replaced the seal with foam weatherstripping and it doesn't leak now, no drain plug, it does hold ice pretty well. But its a SECONDS so I didn't expect much

Those are the bass pro quick releases, $19.99. And the seat is the Wise - Encore, don't remember that one, but the bracket works on any seat!
