I need some more reviews on these rigs. They seem to sell like crazy and it's hard to find anything bad reviews wise about the copperhead mud motor. I've been back and forth on what my next rig would be and might be going the 1648 with 23 copperhead route. Any insight on this would be grateful. |

I'll be writing a review on my 14 Kohler copperhead later today. The biggest downfall to it so far though is it is the worst in vegetation. The prop has a large space between the bearing/tailshaft housing and the prop. It gets fouled with ANY piece of trash or vegetation that you even think about driving near. You have to stop and cut it out because it absolutely kills performance and will eventually tear up the seals. |

Just put a 23 copperhead on my 1442 . Scary fast for a boat that size. Had 3 men and a trolling motor. Still pushed it phenomenal. |

Enough room with 3 people in 1442? What kind of speeds on it? |

3 people is not preferable but I do it all the time. Garmin GPS with 2 guys, a battery, 3 gallons of gas, and a trolling motor we hit 28.7... Faster than my 20 hp Yamaha |
