Anyone ever run a rig like this? What kind of performance could one expect? Speeds? It's going to be a while before I can take one for a test ride. |

TPerkins and I think Tgunn both have 1646's built by Instagator. I'm on the list to have one built by him also. I think they are getting anywhere from 26-28mph empty speeds. Instagator's hulls are good with a load so speeds don't drop off horribly. The folks with Gatortail hulls are right behind those numbers. |

My bad... Musta been thinking of lucer's old. ETA: Mixed up Tperk with Legend. Legend just got a 16' Instagator running a 25. |

I have a review in my sig. I will say I think I now am getting slightly higher speeds. Overall very happy with my boat /motor. |

I have an Instagator too. Boat is bumping 30 now empty 27-28 with 2 people ice chest and fishing stuff |
