I see a couple skiffs that have a chain one the front of it for crawfish what is that used for |

Drag the chain to slow the boat down while running traps. Helps prevent overshooting traps. |

No not really. Some areas you throw the chain and others you don't....kinda depends on the conditions you running traps in, and water levels. |
