Yesterday I took the boat off the trailer and got most of the hooks out. Today I started taking the factory paint off. Got the outside of the hull all taken down. Now I just have to rough up the inside and prep for paint. Found out today that my stencils are on backorder. David sent me an email and said my GG kit will be in Friday.

What camo you going with?

Over.

Mossy oak shadow grass. Hopefully it won't be on backorder too long. I'd like to paint before I put the GG on.

My buddy has pics of the bottom after sanding but he didn't send them to me. I'll post more tomorrow.

It is for sure. I knocked most of them out. Still hooked under the center storage bench a little. Guess I'll try to build it up a bit with the GG.

Good luck. I can't wait to see how that paint job looks. I have not decided which stencil kit I'm using yet

Well I've got the boat pretty much ready to paint. Just a couple more spots to hand sand. This weather isn't helping either. Still no word on when my stencil kit will be in. I was thinking about it today, I may cancel my order and paint it a solid color.

Hasn't been a very productive week for the boat. Between work and this god dang rain! I did manage to get the inside primed yesterday. Hope to at least get the base coat on in the next few days. Off the night shift for a couple weeks so I should be able to make a little more progress.

Got the first coat of "Dead Marsh Grass" on the inside this afternoon after work. Sorry for the shitty pictures. The spots that are not painted will have the "Sears Turf" over it.

Made a little progress today. Put the last coat on the inside, 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of base on the outside. Still have a lot to do. Should be able to finish up by next weekend. I ordered way too much GG so I decided to go 5 inches up the sides.

Thanks. I've been at it for right at a month now. I didn't plan on taking this long but it'll be worth it once I'm done. Maybe the end of next week.
