Why would you want a multihull? You need a straight, flat bottom to flatten the surface of the water to give the surface piercing prop a stable environment to run in......

Not to mention how awful a twin hull would sink down and dig into the mud........

I'd think as long as your transom height and angle were both right, and the hull was flat for about the last 1/3 it would run pretty well. It would work good for fishing real shallow stuff and vegetation. I just don't think it would do worth a damn in the mud. That front end wouldn't want to get on top. It would want to cut through. Not what you want.

This would be used to fish reds in the marshes of cocodrie when the wind is blowing to hard to hit the islands in my bay boat.
Just want something different and saw these pics online. Thanks for the different input.

What's the point? Because it's not a flat it will Draft more and not give you clean water to prop.....I'd put on outboard on it.. then again if I were doing that I'd get a tunnel hull boat and Jack plate.

you drink the kool aid, id rather drink the whiskey and raise hell!!!!

Countless hours of R&D have gone into the current standard for surface drive mud boats. Don't think you're going to reinvent the wheel all by yourself. Stick with what's proven.

+1 to what eljefe said..... get you a tunnel-jon and a jackplate.
