Just got a 1648 war eagle and wondering what motors I should consider. I was thinking about the gtr 25, due to money being tight. Wondering how well that would perform with a heavy load. 2-3 and a gator |

Don't go smaller than a 35 of which ever brand you like. Ya need it for that boat. |

The gtr 25 is a good motor but if you could swing a 35 gtr you would be happier |

That 25 is nice and will perform well with light loads. If you are using two or less people most of the time you will love it. However, if you are planning on loading your boat up consider the 35. |
