I have a 1432 gamefisher and was wondering what would be a better choice with the motor. It has approx. 14 to 15 inch transom and is rated 6 hp max but wanted to run something faster. I was looking to either use a 10 hp copperhead or bring it down to 6.5 hp. Any suggestions if the 10 hp would be too heavy?

I ran a 12 copperhead on one for two years it works fine just got to get the weight right. With me lil gear and dog it ran 22-23 with another person it dropped to 18-20
