I'm looking into buying a new MM, I do not really feel like spending 7500$ on a new GTR, or Mud Buddy, and I do not really want a PD because of gears (not knocking PD just don't want gears). That's why I'm looking at the 35 GDSD. If I go this route what speeds should I expect with and without a load. I will be putting this on the back of a 1650 Xpress. |

On the right boat you could see 30+. But thats on a true mud hull. Doubt you will see that on the express. But I could be wrong. |

I run one on an 1848 go devil surface drive boat. I bump 30 at times but mostly sit around 29.2 with 1 person, ice chest, couple batteries, tools, trolling motor etc. It will push that 1650 express 30 for sure. |

Call CoCo and tell him exactly what you run in and what boat you have. He will put the correct trim tabs on that motor for your boat. Some boats need bigger trim tabs installed on the motor. I gave another member that same advice and he is loving life now. Coco set him up with bigger tabs and had the motor to him quickly. He was able to install the motor and go. |

I think he will have a problem with the bow bouncing. |
