Went pick up my new gtr today will be running on a 18/50 should run it this week sometimes will post up in boat review speeds and how the new lower and 3 blade run

can't wait to see how much vibration it takes out with the 3 blade and new handle, just heard the tiller torque is worst with the 3 blade but from what GT says the new lower will eliminate the tiller torque we shall see i guess

New boat he still makes a few a year, he builds a good solid boat his welding skills are excellent thats the main reason i went with him

Transom height was 19.5 brought it up to 20.5 used 1 x 2 aluminum rectangle tubing

Didn't run it before I put the shim, belt housing was like an inch below the bottom of the boat so I put them shim. transom angle
Is at 22 degrees

Older models were like
8-3/16 and it makes a difference because the thru transom bolts don't line up and I forgot about it until I put my other Tiller motor back on little boat and dammit the holes are off lol

Yea I had 4 Tillers and One Console motor and only the console motor had the new LU all others were older style LU and handle
