| Post subject: | Has tank cap gasket |
Just bought a boat and the previous owner had an aluminum fuel tank built. When I run the boat with the tank more than about half full, fuel sloshes around and a tiny bit seeps out of the cap. There is no gasket in the cap, just aluminum on aluminum threads. Any ideas on material to make my own gasket that I could get at lowes or Home Depot? The fuel is starting to eat the paint a little so I want to stop this. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
