 Re: excel F4
IF you get one make sure it's the 5086 .125 aluminum hull. I have a few buddies with them and they look sweet and are very comfortable to ride in. That being said, with a load they tend to plow a bit, they slide like crazy, and they're heavy for what they are. I'm not saying they aren't tougher than the average Jon boat but they aren't everything Freddie King would have you believe. I personally went with a Gator Trax and couldn't be happier. Where are you located?

I'm just east of Dallas about 20 miles! I have the 4 man hide now and I just need something smaller! Just really like the setup on the F4 and has heard good things about it!

 Re: excel F4
I've got a 1754 F4 .125 hull. I like it. It won't plow to bad if u distribute the weight rite. Better have a motor with some stones cuz they are heavy as hell. They get a bad rap but I like mine. Works great for what I use it for up here. I don't run stumps or any thing like that. Just the occasional log or burm we gotta jump. If u run stumps I'd pry look into something else or pay for the 5086 .125 for sure. It will slide but if u let off quick for the turn then hammer it it'll cut a turn. Just gotta get used to it. Good luck with ur decision.
